Media Statement CAPE TOWN - Vigilant members of Milnerton Crime Prevention Unit arrested a 44-year-old male suspect for possession of drugs at the corner of Freedom Way and Democracy Drive in Joe Slovo on Sunday 03 May 2026. The members were patrolling in the area at around 20:00 and they spotted the suspect pulling a rubbish bin. He was stopped and during a search, members found 2200 mandrax tablets inside the rubbish bin. The 44-year-old Nigerian national was arrested for possession of drugs, and he appeared at the Cape Town Magistrate’s court on Monday 04 May 2026. Ends
