Media Statement GAUTENG Six men are expected to appear in the Pretoria North Magistrates’ Court today, 05 May 2026, facing charges of possession of suspected stolen property and tampering with essential infrastructure. On 03 May 2026, police members conducting routine patrols along Soutpan Road near the Onderstepoort plots noticed a suspicious white Toyota single cab vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle, they discovered six occupants with a transformer that had already been disconnected and loaded onto the bakkie. All six suspects were immediately arrested and detained at SAPS Pretoria North for further investigation. Ends
