The following principles are not negotiable in ensuring the success of the networks:

• Commitment to participate in women’s network activities
• Women’s positive attitude to own empowerment programmes
• Creating a circle of trust among women to ensure organizational transformation
• Providing a platform for addressing personal and professional issues, which must be dealt with sensitively and confidentially
• Being receptive to and accommodating different personalities to allow the free exchange of ideas between women at all levels
• Consultation and communication with women on all matters that affect them.
