MANKWENG - The Police in Mankweng are investigating a case of a missing person following the disappearance of a 59-year-old woman, Nurse Emily Mangena from Nobody, Thakgalang village.

The woman went missing on 16 January 2022 while attending a funeral at Ga-Thoka village from where she reportedly boarded a bus to Laastehoop Cemetery and never returned home and has since disappeared.

She was wearing a black dress and black doek at the time of her disappearance.

Efforts to locate her at relatives and surroundings areas were unsuccessful.

Anyone with information that will assist the Police to find the missing woman is requested to contact Investigating Officer, Captain Phillemon Malahlela 076 944 7761/ 015 286 2000 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or the nearest Police Station or MySAPS App.

The Police investigations are still continuing.
