NELSPRUIT - Four illegal immigrants, aged between 21 and 39, appeared before Acornhoek Magistrate's Court today, Thursday 11 September 2025, subsequent to their arrest during the Operation at Acornhoek on Wednesday, 10 September 2025. The suspects were identified as follows:

Sipho Nxumalo (39)

Solly Ngobeni (32)

Jantino Masigen (29)

Vanito Ngobeni (21)

According to a report, members were conducting a disruptive operation. It was during this time when the team apprehended the six suspects and charged them for contravention of the Immigration Act of South Africa as they did not have valid documentation to be in the country.

The Detectives are working collaboratively with officials from the Department of Home Affairs to ascertain the status of the arrested suspects.

The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr.) Zeph Mkhwanazi appreciates the work done by the team members assigned for Operation Vala Umgodi in Mpumalanga.
