Update: On Friday, 24 March 2017, Durban Regional Court convicted and sentenced a 40-year-old accused to two life terms imprisonment for human trafficking and rape of his stepdaughter. He was further sentenced to one year imprisonment for the violation of the Immigration Act. The sentences will run concurrently.
