Media Statement from Limpopo Media Centre The Joint Intelligent led operation Paseka is still hitting hard on criminals throughout the Province especially in the crime infested areas focusing on trio crimes and other serious and violent crimes. In the Tzaneen Cluster, at Letsitele and Ritavi Policing areas, three suspects aged between 25 and 31 years were arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms and possession of suspected stolen properties.
During the arrest, the following items were recovered:
In the Giyani Cluster, five suspects aged between 24 and 27 years were arrested for dealing in dagga and the following were recovered: In the Burgersfort Cluster, three suspects aged 23, 26 and 31 years were arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms and two firearms were recovered being a 9mm with 05 living rounds and the second 9mm without rounds. In the Seshego Cluster outside Polokwane, a 46-year-old suspects was arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition and one 9mm with one magazine, one living round and two empty cartridges were recovered.
In the Mankweng Cluster outside Polokwane, a 23-year-old suspect was arrested for murder, house robbery and fraud and the following items were recovered: The suspects arrested during this operation will appear before different Magistrates’ Courts soon.
