The Police in this Province have condemned the burning of all houses of the suspect's parents last night forcing the family to vacate the village because of this incident.
Members of the community are once-more warned to refrain from taking the law into their own hands because that is a serious offence which is punishable by the law.
Cases of arson and public violence were opened and police investigations are on-going.
The suspect Lolo Madonsela aged 30 years old appeared before the Groblersdal Magistrate’s Court yesterday on a charge of murder and he was remanded in custody with no bail until 25 May 2017 pending further Police investigations.
The deceased was identified as: Anna Mashifane aged 39 years.
It is alleged that on Tuesday 18 April 2017, in the morning at about 07:30, the suspect was found by a passer-by when he brutally attacked his 39 year old next-door neighbour woman with a sharp instrument at Zaaiplaas New Stands outside Groblersdal.
Upon receiving the report, the Police reacted swiftly and arrested the suspect at the scene. An axe was seized from the suspect.
Police investigations are still continuing.
