Mount Fletcher police received information about someone selling sheep at Maclear at R500 each which were kept inside a locked house.

Mount Fletcher OCC responded and handled this valuable information with great care and caution.  Members proceeded to the said house and recovered 30 sheep inside the house and arrested 3 suspects immediately.

All thirty sheep belong to a certain farmer, Mr Patric Olamlain of Maclear, who was not even aware that his sheep were stolen.

A case of stock theft and possession of stolen stock were registered at Maclear SAPS and the three male suspects are expected to appear in court soon facing the stock theft and related charges.

The owner of the stock was so pleased and applauded Mount Fletcher Cluster members for the recovery and arrest.

Mount Fletcher Cluster Commander, Brig Majikijela applauded the members for the good handling of the information and speedy arrest.

She encouraged the public to work close with the police in the fight against crime. "When we work together we achieve more results faster, "added Brig Majikijela.
