A 26-year-old man arrested earlier today at around 11:00 at Stinkwater village in Temba, north of Pretoria. He was hiding at his uncle’s place at Trust Farm.

Crime Intelligence Unit and National Intervention Unit (NIU) managed to trace the suspect following cases of murder, hijacking and armed robberies, which occurred in April this year around Soshanguve and another robberies allegedly happened last year in Limpopo.

He was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and 14 life rounds and a motor bike without registration which is alleged to be involved in commission of a crime.

He will appear at Moretele Magistrates’ Court in due course facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

The police expected to arrest other suspects soon.
