The partnership between the Kimberley Community Police Forum (CPF) and SAPS once again yielded a great success. On Saturday, 30 June 2018 the police followed up on information regarding a house breaking that took place in Royl-Glen, Kimberley, earlier that day. With the assistance from the CPF, SAPS Flying Squad, SAPS Search and Rescue and Kimberley SAPS Detectives.

 

The Police found the one of the alleged stolen four wheeler motorcycles at a premises in New Park Kimberley. Police also followed up on more leads and returned to the same premises on Tuesday, 03 July 2018 at about 8pm and arrested two male suspects after discovering another disassembled four wheeler stashed in the ceiling of the premises. The approximate value of the two motorcycles is estimated at R30 000.

 

The suspects were charged with house breaking and theft as well as possession of suspected stolen goods. The suspects are aged 18 and 36-years-old respectively and should be appearing in the Kimberley Magistrates Court soon.
