On Friday, 29 June, Cynthia Lungeleni Ngidi (42) was asleep at her home in Amahwaqa Ward in Dududu while her mother went out to fetch wood. The mother arrived home at about 11:00 and found Cynthia missing. She was informed by a neighbour that she had been seen walking towards the local store but a search for her proved fruitless. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue shirt. Cynthia is mentally challenged and her mother is concerned for her safety and wellbeing.

An appeal is made for anyone who may know of her whereabouts or has seen her since her disappearance, to contact the investigating officer, Detective Constable Cyprian Zwelonke Khathi of the Dududu SAPS Detective Service on 039 974 0151, 072 494 9551, Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
