The accused serial rapist Kadi Lephuthing(27) of Haniville section in Makwane, Qwaqwa was found guilty on 16 charges on the 10/10/2018, i. e 5 counts rape, 5 counts robberies, 5 counts kidnappings and extortion and sentenced today by the Regional court in Phuthaditjhaba

The accused used to threaten and force his victims into a taxi at Setsing shopping complex taking them to his place where he would raped them. He met some of his victims inside a taxi and would claim to have relations with victims so as to evade attention.

He is sentenced to an effective 50 years direct imprisonment and will also be included in the National Register of sexual offences. The case was investigated by Detective Warrant Officer Daniel Moholo of Phuthaditjhaba FCS.
