FEZILE DABI DISTRICT - As part of the Safer Festive Season initiative, the Fezile Dabi District, in partnership with traffic authorities and the Department of Agriculture, conducted a multidisciplinary roadblock on the N1.

The operation aimed to enhance motorist safety and enforce compliance by:

- Searching for stolen property and vehicles

- Identifying undocumented persons and vehicles with suspicious documentation

- Checking for unlicensed firearms and other prohibited items

- Preventing stock theft and verifying livestock documentation

- Verifying vehicle roadworthiness and driver licenses

- Educating drivers on road safety and promoting responsible driving behaviour

The Fezile Dabi District urges all motorists to exercise caution and be responsible when traveling.
