WESTERN CAPE - The vigilance of members of Public Order Policing led to the arrest of a Zimbabwean national for selling and handling of controlled and schedule medicine on Friday morning, 01 May 2026.

The members were busy with crime prevention duties in Bellville area when they noticed a transaction happening between the male and an unknown female. They went to investigate and found 27 bottles of cough mixture and an undisclosed amount of cash in his possession.

The 44-year-old suspect will appear in the Bellville Magistrates’ court on Monday, 04 May 2026 on the mentioned charge.
