Media Statement Scenery Park police have opened four cases of murder and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of bodies of four people at Phase 3 Scenary Park near East London last night, 01 March 2021. The local police were alerted to the incident by members of the community who came to the Scenery Park Community Service Centre to report the shooting incident. Upon arrival at the crime scene, police found three male and a female body, between the ages of 20 and 29 years with gun shots wound on their upper bodies. The fifth victim survived the shooting and was taken to hospital for medical attention. The survivor gave information that they were ambushed by four unknown males but he had no description or any information that can assist the police investigation. Police are therefore appealing to anyone who may have information that could assist in unravelling this case, to urgently contact Scenery Park SAPS on 043 745 6032 or W/Officer Maqhubela on 071 608 1475 or SAPS Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or MySAPS App which can be downloaded on any smartphone.
