On Tuesday, 10 June 2014 at about 11:30 two males aged 46 and 49 were shot by unknown suspects driving in an Audi A4 at Impala Park, Boksburg-North. The victims were responding to an alarm from the housekeeper. One victim was fatally wounded and the other in serious condition at hospital.

It is alleged that at about 11:30 the housekeeper noticed a suspicious looking vehicle park outside the house and notified the owner of the house who was at work at the time. The owner (46yrs) and the colleague (49yrs) responded and noticed the vehicle parked next to the house with occupants inside. The victims approached the vehicle and shots were fired towards them. A 49 year-old man was fatally wounded and died on arrival at hospital and the other 46 year-old victim is in a critical condition.

The suspects who were driving in an Audi A4 fled the scene. The Boksburg-North police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder. The police are appealing to community to come forward with any information that can assist in the investigation of the case.
