Umbilo police are looking for an alleged murder suspect, Khulekani Ntuli (43) who is believed to be in hiding in Gauteng area. He is wanted for the murder case where senior human resource practitioner was gunned down at King Edward hospital. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.  Anyone who might have information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Umbilo detectives on 031 3195100 during office hours or Investigating Officer Warrant Officer Vusi Nkosi on his cellphone number 0721072578.

On 28 February 2013 at about 09:30 the victim, Sipho Mfayela (54) who was working as a senior human resource practitioner at King Edward Hospital, was at his office when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect allegedly shot and killed the victim after he was told of the results of his misconduct disciplinary appeal. The victim was shot twice on the chest and died while being receiving treatment. The suspect fled the scene in his Toyota Corolla motor vehicle and disappeared.  A case of murder was opened at Umbilo police station and detectives started their investigation.
