KWAZULU-NATAL – The Hawks in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested a 23-year-old man for the murder of Constable Lungisani Mkhize (33) who was stationed at Umsunduzi Police Station.

Mkhize’s lifeless body was found on the road with a bullet wound on the chest at Fredville area in Inchanga on 5 May this year.

The suspect was arrested at KwaDambuza in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday and he will appear before the Camperdown Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 17 May 2016.
