The fight against drug trafficking yielded successes when Mahikeng police arrested a 23-year-old Nigerian national for possession of drugs in Golf View, Mahikeng today, 25 July 2014.

The arrest came after a tip-off from the community that a person has been selling drugs at his place in Golf view. The police went to search the place and found drugs such as Cat, Nyaope and Crystal meth, all with estimated value of R160 000. The suspect is expected to appear in the Mmabatho Magistrates' Court soon.

The North West Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Zukiswa Mbombo thanked the community for their cooperation in the fight against crime.
