Media Statement from KwaZulu Natal Media Centre The Empangeni Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is appealing to the community to assist in locating the person in the attached photo. Police believe that she may assist in solving a case of kidnapping which occurred at Empangeni. It is alleged that on 16 May 2015 an 18-year-old mother was lured by three female suspects who pretended to assist her to get a job and birth certificate for her three-day-old child. The mother of the child met the suspects at the Empangeni CBD where they took her three-day-old baby boy and promised to take care of the child whilst the mother was busy. A case of kidnapping was opened at Mtunzini Police Station on 21 May 2015 and the docket was transferred to Empangeni FCS for further investigation. Police believe that she can assist in solving this case. She is known as Zamokuhle Bekezela (MaDlamini Dlamini), however her whereabouts are unknown at this stage.
