Lwandle Police seek public assistance in locating the family of an unknown deceased person

Lwandle Police are investigating an inquest case docket following the death of a 29 year-old male on Saturday, 21 May 2014 and are seeking the assistance of family members to identify his body.

It is alleged that the deceased, who originates from Lesotho, was asleep when a fire started in his shack around 04:15 in Richmond Street, Nomzamo in Lwandle. The fire also spread to other adjacent shacks and the main house. The cause for the fire is still unknown at this stage.

Lwandle police are currently looking for family members and friends of the deceased, who is known as Kgotso Mashota, that is kindly requested to contact the investigating officer at Lwandle Police Station, Sergeant Marius Erasmus on 082 522 1208 or 021 845 2060.
