Members of the JGDOCC (Joe Gqabi District Operational Command Centre) continued with their crime prevention endeavours in the District.

On Tuesday the 8 February 2022 the members followed up on positive information of a female that were selling Drugs in Vula Vala, Broadway Street, Aliwal North.

The members proceeded to the said address and searched the house just to find the mandrax tablets hidden at the back of the stove in the kitchen.

The 33-year-old suspect was arrested and 139 mandrax tablets to the value of R13900-00 were confiscated.

The acting District Commissioner Brig Rudolph Adolph commended the members on the good work.
