WESTERN CAPE - Police have increased deployment to the Bellville taxi rank this morning after two taxi operators were wounded in two shooting incidents. Two yet-to-be identified taxi operators were wounded after being shot at approximately 7:45. Police have since arrested a suspect and seized a firearm. Police are maintaining a strong presence in the area.

Detectives are still questioning seven suspects who were apprehended on Thursday afternoon after another shooting from the same taxi hub.
