BRITS - Community members residing around the policing precinct of Brits are hereby notified of the renovations that are currently underway at the Brits police station.

While this is done to improve the working environment of employees, service delivery is not affected.

It is concerning to note that there are people who deliberately use social media to spread false and misleading information that the police station is closed.

A Facebook message with a picture of the Community Service Centre (CSC) being closed is currently circulated. The author indicated that the police station is closed.

The CSC is operating on a daily basis from the boardroom at Church Street.
