POTCHEFSTROOM - The body of 68-year-old Letshabang Lazarus Sekete (68), who was residing in Garsfontein Village in Bakerville, near Lichtenburg, was found by a passer-by on Saturday morning, 01 November 2025, at about 10:00 lying in a veld, near Garsfontein Village.

Police are investigating a judicial inquiry into his death. At this stage no foul play is expected.

The South African Police Service appreciates the communities’ assistance.
