MLUNGISI - An intelligence-led operation by Queenstown Crime Intelligence, K9 and Mlungisi Visible Policing members yielded good results with the arrest of four (4) suspects.

On Tuesday, 06 October 2020, four (4) suspects aged between 30 and 40 years, were arrested for possession of drugs to the value of R500 000-00. An undisclosed amount of cash were also seized during the operation.

All suspects will appear before Queenstown Magistrate Court on 07 October 2020, for possession of and dealing in drugs.

Chris Hani District Commissioner, Major General Funeka Siganga commended members for the good work done. “We will continue to intensify with these operations to rid our towns of drugs which impact on the lives of our community members”, she added.
