Media Statement by the Ministry of Police Police Minister, General Bheki Cele will on Thursday 10 February 2022, address a parade of members of the SAPS and other Security forces, who will be deployed in and around Cape Town, to ensure the safety and security of the 2022 State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday evening. The deployment will comprise of Law enforcement agencies from the SAPS, SANDF, National Traffic Police, the Western Cape’s Provincial Traffic Police, City of Cape Town’s Metro Police, Traffic services and Law enforcement officers.
The parade will take place as follows:
Date: 10 February 2022 Time: 12:00 Venue: Castle of Good Hope, use the main entrance and not the Darling Street entrance to gain access to the castle of Good Hope.
