POLOKWANE - The police at Siloam under Vhembe District have launched a manhunt for suspects following the murder of an unknown male on Saturday, 28 March 2026, at approximately 01:00.

The incident occurred in the business area of Siloam village next to the shacks along the R523 public road.

The victim was wearing a white T-shirt with a green pair of trousers and was also found with multiple stab wounds on the upper body.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel were summoned and they certified him dead at the scene.

The motive behind the brutal murder is unknown at this stage.

A manhunt for suspects is underway, and police are appealing to the members of the community to come forward with any information that may help identify the deceased and track down the suspects.
