GAUTENG – Two suspects, a male and a female aged 30 and 48 are expected to appear before the Palm Ridge Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on 24 March 2021 on charges of fraud and theft.

It is alleged that they created false purchasing orders while employed by an electrical company in Boksburg between 2014 and 2015. They allegedly inflated prices on services not rendered and transferred money into their personal bank accounts which resulted to company loss of approximately R2, 5 million.

On Monday 8 March 2021, the duo were served with subpoenas to appear in court. The investigation is continuing on this matter and outstanding suspects are sought.
