LADYBRAND - Police in Ladybrand seek community assistance in locating a white VW Polo Vivo with registration numbers: HXL 204 FS, which belong to a deceased woman. The victim was allegedly killed by her boyfriend who fled the crime scene in her vehicle.

It's alleged that on 11 November 2024 at about 15:00, police were summoned to Lusaka Section of Manyatseng township near Ladybrand, to attend to a complaint of a murder. Upon arrival at the scene, members found a life less body of a woman, aged 44, inside the bedroom with a stab wound on the neck. 

It's alleged that the couple had an altercation and the suspect fatally stabbed the victim afterwards fled the crime scene using the victim's vehicle. His whereabouts are still unknown. The motive behind the killing is not yet known at this stage however, police investigations continue.
