GAUTENG - Following the concerted efforts of the SAPS to not only apprehend the perpetrators behind the murder of Ms Jostina Sangweni, but to also ensure that cases against the suspects are watertight towards a successful prosecution, police on Friday 09 April 2021 arrested two suspects in Mapetla.

The two suspects aged 27 and 28 are expected to make their first appearance today, 12 April 2021, in the Protea Magistrate Court.

The investigation is still ongoing as police expect to make more arrests.

Gauteng Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela has welcomed the arrests and urged the investigating team to leave no stone unturned until the remaining suspects are also apprehended and brought to book.
