Kraaifontein: On the 13th October 2014 in the morning, a case of possession of dagga was opened against a 19-year-old suspect and the dagga estimated to the value of R10 000 was confiscated. SAPS crime prevention members were busy with patrols when they spotted a man coming out of a certain house in Swakamisa Street, Wallacedene at about 07:50. When the suspect saw the police, he started running away. Police got suspicious of his behaviour and they decided to enter the house.

Upon investigation, they immediately searched the house and they found 126 packets of dagga. Upon searching the house a woman members have found inside the house denied knowledge of the drugs, however, the police arrested her for possession of dagga and she is due to appear in the Blue Downs Magistrates' Court soon.
