Media Statement LIMPOPO – The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation members have arrested four (4) counterfeit goods dealers in Musina on Friday, 21 May 2021. The Hawks received a tipoff about four shops in Musina that were selling counterfeit goods. A multi-disciplinary operation between the Hawks, Polokwane Tactical Response Team, Musina Visible Police and Customs Beitbridge was conducted and the identified shops were raided. During the raid, assortment of suspected counterfeit sneakers bearing different brands to the value of over R250 000-00 were seized. All the suspects are expected to make their first appearance in the Musina Magistrate's Court on Monday, 24 May 2021. Ends
