Media Statement GQEBERHA - Police in Humewood are on the hunt for a murder suspect/s after the body of a Nigerian male was found this morning, 8 June 2021 in Park Drive, St Georges. It is alleged that on Tuesday 08/06 at approximately 08:10, SAPS Humewood responded to a complaint of a murder at the abovementioned address. On arrival the body of a male, Paul Okechukwu (36) was pointed out by a local security company. It is further alleged that Okechukwu’s body was found by a passer-by on his way to work. He sustained a gunshot wound to the head. His vehicle, a white Mercedes Benz which was found parked nearby has been impounded for further investigation. At this stage the motive and suspect/s are unknown and a case of murder is under investigation.
