Police bust drug dealer with crystal meth

NORTHERN CAPE - A 33-year-old man was apprehended subsequent to be found in possession of crystal meth weighing 23,26 Grams, worth nearly R6000-00  in street value on Tuesday, 27 July 2021.

The Police in Prieska acted on information about suspected drug dealing in Mandela Square, Prieska. Police reacted promptly and raided the suspect's premises. The suspect was found busy inside his shanty packaging crystal meth. When he realised that police were at his premises he attempted to destroy packaged crystal meth however, he was arrested and the drugs were seized. More than R40 000-00 in cash, suspected to be the proceeds of dealing in drugs was also confiscated. The suspect has been charged for dealing drugs. He is expected to appear before Prieska Magistrate's Court soon.
