If you recognise the suspect depicted in the attached identikit, kindly call Sergeant Christell Frieslaar of the Delft Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit on 082 522 1040 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111, as he is wanted on a charge of rape. On 29 June 2021 the suspect approached the 19-year-old victim in Delft Main Road and sexually assaulted her during an attempted robbery. The suspect is in his twenties with no front upper teeth, 1.67 m tall and of medium built. He was wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit pants and running shoes and was carrying a brown backpack. You may remain anonymous when providing information to SAPS.
