On 2021-08-13 at about 09:00 a male (45) years of age and his girlfriend, aged (23) years, were arrested for dealing and possession of tik after a search warrant was executed at their homestead in Mbeki Street, Lingelihle in Cradock. This followed after information was received by Cradock Public Order Police about the selling of tik at an identified homestead. While searching the premises (23) plastic bags of tik was found in possession of the female and (5) plastic bags of tik, as well as a (5) litre bucket containing tik, was found in possession of the male. The estimated street value of the tik is R72 000-00. The suspects are due to appear in court soon.
