Manhunt underway for four business robbery suspects at Mahatlani Village

POLOKWANE - Hlanganani police are investigating a case of business robbery that occurred at a secondary school in Mahatlani Village on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at approximately 22:40.

According to reports, two security officers, were on duty when they were approached by about four unknown males who were armed, dressed in blue work suits, and wearing balaclavas. The suspects allegedly pointed firearms at the victims, and forcibly took their two cellphones and undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects then forced open the administration block door and locked the victims inside the strong room. One of security officers sustained minor injuries.

The victims were rescued the following morning by the principal.

It was later discovered that cash and a laptop were missing from the office.

Police were notified, and business robbery case was opened.

Police investigations are ongoing.
