HUMANSDORP - Five suspects were arrested over the weekend and are due to appear in the Humansdorp Magistrate’s Court today, 02 February 2026, for their alleged involvement in the murder of Deon Du Toit (60), whose body was found on the farm outside Humansdorp last week.

The five men aged between 22 and 37 were found in possession of items that were presumably stolen during the attack. They were charged for murder, house robbery and possession of suspected stolen property.

Du Toit's body was found on Tuesday morning, 27 January 2026, at the farm that is situated along R102.
