SAPS Tshaulu address gender-based violence and femicide through awareness campaign

TSHAULU- In line with the 16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children campaign, the SAPS Tshaulu conducted a crime awareness campaign at Denzhe Primary School situated at Tshidzini village under Vhembe District, Thulamela Municipality. 

The event was led by Communication Official, Warrant Officer Tshililo Mposhomali and Sector 1 Commander Mudau Vuledzani.

Community members were sensitized about the following topics:-

  • Breaking the silence on domestic violence
  • Reporting any kind abuse
  • Seeking help from professionals including pastors, social workers and report abuse immediately to the police.
  • Missing persons
  • Drownings during rainy seasons
  • Online scams
  • Anti-fraud awareness.
