PRETORIA - Police have arrested a 36-year-old suspect following an incident on Wednesday morning, 05 January 2022 where police responded to reports of a man breaking the windows using a hammer, at the Constitutional Court buildings in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. It is reported that police fired a warning shot after the suspect continued to break the windows even after being ordered to stop.

He has been charged with Malicious Damage to Property.

The suspect's court appearance will be confirmed in due course.
