BLOEMFONTEIN - The Safer Festive Season Operation continues to yield success in Mangaung Metro. On Thursday, 20 January 2022 the Tactical Response Team once again embarked on crime sweep activities to rid the streets of Mangaung of criminal elements.

The Detective Branch in Heidedal Police Station called for intervention at about 09:00 and the team responded. Two suspects aged 33 and 40 were arrested for Contravention of Protection Order as well as resisting arrest.

The Operation continued and at about 14:00, a 25-year-old male was arrested for possession of presumed stolen property. The team arrived at the shack dwelling in Naledi Square and found the suspect in possession of two red and black mini smart machines.
