KING WILLIAM’S TOWN: Police at Buffalo Flats in Eat London have made it their mission to clamp down on the illegal drug trade in their policing area. This comes after police arrested yet another drug dealer, after 205 mandrax tablets were found in his possession at Windyridge Road in Parkside. Since last week until today, police seized over 305 mandrax tablets with a street value of R24 000-00 and arrested four suspects during various police operations.

Buffalo Flats Police were busy with patrol duties on the 22 January 2015 at about 08:45, when they spotted the 22 year-old suspect. They noticed that the suspect changed direction once he saw the police vehicle and it made them to become full of suspicion. The members stopped and searched the suspect and seized 205 mandrax tablets in his possession. The suspect was arrested, charged and detained for dealing in drugs and would be appearing in the East London Magistrates’ Court soon.

Police vowed to continue their fight against the illegal drug trade and will act against those committing this type of crime.
