The National Commissioner of Police, General Riah Phiyega and Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Fannie Masemola will today visit Relela Village just outside Tzaneen and address the media on events around the tragic public protest, which resulted in the injuries of several police officers, extensive damage of SAPS resources and death of some protesters.

 

They will also share some of the immediate interventions and the roles and responsibilities of the organisers of public protests.

Members of the media are invited.
