POTCHEFSTROOM – Police in Potchefstroom request community's assistance in locating a missing 26-year-old woman, Nomsa Jass. She was last seen on Sunday, 25 August 2024, when she left her place of work at a Mall in Potchefstroom. She did not report back at work on Monday, 26 August 2023, and this was when the family were contacted by her employer and they went to her flat in Meyer Street in Potchefstroom, but could not find her or her vehicle, a charcoal colour Volkswagen Polo. She was reported missing at the police on Tuesday, 27 August 2024.

On Wednesday, 28 August 2024, police recovered her abandoned vehicle, that was parked in a parking area at the Daveyton Mall, close to Benoni in Gauteng.

It is unknown what she was wearing during the time of her disappearance. She is light brown in complexion with brown eyes, black medium length hair, about 1.2 m tall and a very slender build body.

Police request anyone who may have information that can assist to locate her to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Johan Mostert on 082 568 5734 or the South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Stop on number 08600 10111. Anonymous tip-offs can be communicated via the MySAPS App from your smartphone.
