CHRIS HANI DISTRICT – Last night, 20 March 2021, the Deputy District Commissioner, Brigadier Pumla Makuva addressed members on parade while they were preparing for the closure of Operation Gijima for the weekend  focusing on Mlungisi and Queenstown policing precincts.

Brigadier Mavuka thanked the members for their efforts in the operation conducted over the past two days in the District.

The concept for the operation is to monitor compliance to Covid-19 adjusted level 1 regulations, especially by the liquor outlets and the monitoring of drug trafficking through stop and searches.
