NORTH WEST – Patrick Seepamore (46) was sentenced to five years direct imprisonment by the Stilfontein Regional Court on Friday for possession of explosives.

The accused was arrested by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation on 29 January 2022, after they followed up on information and resultantly found the accused at his residence with explosives worth approximately R31 000.

He made a series of court appearances until he was ultimately found guilty. In addition to the sentence, he was further declared unfit to possess a firearm.
