DURBAN – Yesterday, the Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit followed up on information regarding a woman who was dealing in drugs at Montclair. Police officers proceeded to Buller Road where observation was conducted.

Hours later the woman was spotted leaving the house. She was approached by police who searched a backpack that she had in her possession. During the search police officers discovered 2.1kg of heroin and 624 grams of cocaine with a street value of R520 000. The 29-year-old suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs and detained at Montclair SAPS. She will appear before Durban Magistrate’s Court today.
