Dennilton Police embarked on a community engagement session to address crime

DENNILTON - The Police in Dennilton led by Lieutenant Colonel Makaleng accompanied by Warrant Officer Ntuli, Sergeant Ditshego and Commuity Policing Forum (CPF) members conducted a crime awareness in Ga-Matlala village, Lehwelere Sector 3 on Saturday, 17 September 2022.

Community members were advised to install security measures such as burglar bars on windows and doors, establish neighbourhood watch and street committees to prevent house burglaries. Livestock owners were advised to brand mark their animals according to the Animal Identification Act.

They were also encouraged to report any criminal activities to the police and refrain from mob justice.
